I love Chick-fil-A. And apparently many people do, because every single time I go not only is the drive-thru line wrapped around the building but they also have a police officer directing traffic in the parking lot. Well, on my last visit I noticed something that I’ve probably heard a thousand times before yet somehow it stuck out that day. When I thanked the cashier her response was, “It’s my pleasure.” Normally when people say “thank you” the typical response is “you’re welcome.” And in that moment I thought about the difference between “you’re welcome” and “it’s my pleasure.”
